The first-ever statewide conference for community foundations in California is planned for September 7 and 8. The two-day event, "A New Generation of Leadership: Community Foundations in California," will provide an inspiring opportunity for statewide networking, idea exchange and knowledge dissemination among community foundation Board members, CEOs and staff.

Offerings will include one or two prominent and provocative keynote speakers; working/networking sessions (discipline specific and cross-cutting) for program, finance/administration, development, donor services and communications/marketing staff as well as Board members; a member-only League business meeting; and a Board member-only session. Session topics will be those of significant interest and importance to community foundation practitioners and Board members in California.
